Reading Notes: Part C The Burning of Lanka

The Burning of Lanka was really interesting part where Hanuman has lite the fire in half of the Lanka and destroyed half of the city.  Hanuman who came to meet lady Sita to see her if she is safe, and return back to Rama to inform him.  While he was talking to Sita, Ravana got to know that some monkey is talking with Sita and he said to bring him in front of him.  As they capture Hanuman and took him in front of Ravana, Hanuman said lot of things which made him angry and Ravana said to lite his tail with fire.  Hanuman can grow his tail as long as he wants and they were tired of putting cloth on his tail to lite the fire.  Once they lite the fire Hanuman went all around Lanka and started destroying building and anything that came into his site with fire.

I might use Hanuman as my character or maybe Ravana but I am not sure yet.  The reason why I like Hanuman is because he will do anything that comes up in his mind.  He was the brilliant, he was intelligent and able to figure out any strategist in the middle of work to make is easier.  He was also powerful enough to defeat anyone with is intelligent and ability to know figure out what other person is lacking.  As in this incident of burning of Lanka, he realized that since they already put fire on his tail then why don't he put whole Lanka on fire.  He destroyed half of Lanka which also symbolized that Lanka belongs to Ravana and the end for Ravana is coming soon.  As his people died, his also lost many of his soldier and losing so many things at once declare that Ravana does not have many days left.

I may use Ravana in my story where it will show his as a mean guy who snatch anything from anyone as long as he like.  While Hanuman will help anyone who needs help and with his intelligence he will out run Ravana's scheme and put his through dust.
