The film was really interesting, never saw this type of film
before and it was something new. If you
are watching for first time it gives of idea of it because of character, and
one I seen it one from India it’s similar.
From the one I have seen in India this seem much more modernize and different
from the one I have seen. I have seen
many Ramayana with real life character acting in a show, movies, and cartoon’s. Through the song in this movie was something
entirely different because there is no song in the one’s I watched. They only have background music which changes
as the scene changes like from sad to happy, or drama to battlefield etc. They really have some interesting background
music.
Nina Paley really made this movie for people to watch so
they don’t get bored. The character of
the movies was focused on Sita and she was happy that she got to marry Rama but
she didn’t expect the hardship. But she
couldn’t leave her husband alone and let him go to exile and it her job to
accompany Rama her husband. They both
went to exile but Lakshmana also went with them. They all went to exile and Sita like the
golden deer and Rama went to get it and didn’t came back for a while and Sita told
Lakshmana to go as well and check on his brother why it is taking so long. Ravana comes and kidnapped Sita even though
he had all the knowledge but didn’t use that knowledge for good but for bad
things. He even worships the right god
but didn’t make good choice and over time he became evil. Rama had to kill Ravana so everything went
according to the god’s prophecy and that is why Rama and Sita was born.
